TIM ANDREWS - Potober Workshop 2016 Caawa Initiative.

One of my most favourite inspirational Raku artists!

I found him to be a refreshingly unpretentious, gentle man that exudes a quiet but stately confidence as reflected in his pieces. Pure elegance. I watched him work and fire at Art in Action in UK. We met up again at his gallery a year later but unfortunately he was packing up all his work ready for one of UK's many fairs and his studio was down to skeleton stock, so the last time he came over to Perth, I bought one of his famous stunning red raku pots, now a prized jewel in my collection and a signed copy of his fabulous Raku book, (an invaluable reference). Very inspiring.

Can't wait for the workshop. Not sure if he is doing both Raku and Naked Raku as he has asked for burnished bisqued pieces which would suggest Naked Raku.
