This was a wonderful Exhibition held at 11 Limos close Stirling at the

TELETHON TYPE l DIABETES FAMILY CENTRE. 11 - 20 November 2016

We are all proud as artists, to be able to give back to the community who support us by donating some of the proceeds of this exhibition and donated artworks from each of us, toward the fundraising of the incredibly worthy foundation of the Telethon Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre.

THE FOUR OF US - Another exciting exhibition of dramatic colour, texture, sculpture and mixed media. A fascinating fusion of the arts by local West Australian artists, Kim Maple, Judith Paisley, Victoria Malone and Beverley McMahon.

Opening night was absolutely wonderful and we could not have had a more fitting venue for such an occasion. Its huge contemporary layout and facilities offered everything for both exhibitors and guests. It was perhaps a little out of the way but none the less we had wonderful reviews and the most successful exhibition so far with 120 artworks on exhibit. The diversity of techniques and very distinctive style of each artist offered enough variety to capture the interest and very positive reaction from a discerning public.

Thank you to everyone for your support and to the Type l Diabetes Family centre for the wonderful venue and co-operation.

SOME PICS FROM THE EXHIBITION

Judith Paisley shared her passion for the rustic, earthy, textural surfaces of pit/barrel fired sculptural ceramics, the serendipitous sensual nature of her Naked Raku forms contrasted by

subtle simplistic veracity with touches of her etched porcelain.

Victoria Malone celebrated for her stunning large wheel thrown forms and adventurous spirit,

in this exhibition has revealed her fascination and experimentation with crystalline and reduction glazes contrasted with some of her wonderful large raku pieces.

Beverley McMahon well known for her beautiful sculptured figures, statues and plaques has

taken a creative digression for this exhibition to integrate intriguing structures to further enhance

her artistic narrative in various raku, pit fired and glazed finishes.

Kim Maple renowned for her vibrant contemporary paintings and represented in many private,

local and overseas collections is always guaranteed to arouse the senses with her subtle abstraction

and vivid splashes of colour.
